The goal for us here at Overhaul Training is to help you live the active life you love without fear of injury. No matter if you’ve never strength trained a day in your life or if you’ve had iron induced calluses on your hands for 25+ years, we can help.

NAVIGATING THE SITE
If you haven't yet noticed, my programs are all centered on free weight strength training programs. The exercises are chosen to develop the strength and flexibility to support fundamental human movement patterns that have a direct carry over to everyday life and activities.

The trick is finding the right level for you to start. It should be difficult enough to stimulate improvement but not so much as to take on unnecessary risk of injury. For this reason, we have the strength challenges.

Begin with the Foundational Strength Challenge and then the Overhaul Protocol Strength Challenge. If you can’t pass one, that’s the training program I suggest you start with. If you pass them both start with Total Strength #1.

FOUNDATIONAL STRENGTH - This 4 week program is where you should begin if you are a beginner or de-conditioned from not training for a while. It will help you safely develop a solid foundation of strength and control through a full range of motion. You'll use body weight and some lighter free-weights.

OVERHAUL PROTOCOL - Once you've established the strength and co-ordination to safely perform a variety of fundamental human movements with your body weight with Foundational Strength we now progress you into the next level of training. This 8 week program is where you'll start broadening the types of movements in your program to develop more agility, power and build greater overall strength. It also includes supplemental training days you can choose to add on to correct shoulder and postural issues or to help prevent lower back pain.

TOTAL STRENGTH - Once you've passed the Overhaul Protocol Challenge this series of monthly programs is what I suggest you use as the core of your training. It's a 2x/week program and depending on your goals and time available, you can select additional training days from Muscle Up!, Shred It! and Recover & Realign.

MUSCLE UP! - Density based sessions designed to build lean muscle mass and increase your work capacity...meaning your ability to operate like a non-stop strength machine. You should only do these programs after passing the Overhaul Protocol Challenge.

SHRED IT! - H.I.I.T. based sessions designed to make fat cry and improve total body conditioning. Do not attempt these programs until you have passed the Foundational Strength Challenge with total ease.

RECOVER & REALIGN - A combination of self-massage, joint mobility, PNF stretches and corrective exercises to help speed recovery while increasing flexibility and improving posture. Ideal for any level of experience.
